About This Work
This scene is an interpretation of one of the ending scenes in Voyage of the Dawn Treader. The sky is hazy and the water a gentle blue giving the scene a whimsical, dreamlike feel. A small mouse paddles in a small canoe towards the sunrise amongst floating water lilies seeming to drift away into an endless ocean.
